The Equalizer series is a patented technology that uses a low temperature, low pressure vacuum filtration specially designed to create the best non-alcoholic beverages on the market. This unique filtration equipment maintains flavor, color and aroma of the input beverage, allowing you to create a crafted beverage from your trusted recipes.

Innovative Technology

  • The Equalizer series is designed to process a beverage post-filtration and pre-carbonation, however there are many optional configurations.

  • Made of industrial grade stainless steel the machine fits well in the environment of a beverage manufacturing facility.

  • The equipment consists of a plug and play skid which minimizes floor space and allows users to place the equipment in the most user friendly location in their facility.

  • Traditional CIP is used between runs on the Equalizer, providing a cost savings benefit for the operator to use cleaning solutions likely already on hand in their manufacturing facility.

  • For the EQ1100 series, input beverages should be between ABV 3.5% and 15.0%.

  • Inline carbonation is available as an option to allow the Equalizer to run from kegs into kegs, giving you a ready to serve product from either output.

Reliable, Robust and Precise Performance

  • The Equalizer (EQ1100) is capable of processing your beverages at rates up to 1.2bbl/h. The Equalizer series also offers custom throughput models. Quotes upon request.

  • The EQ1100 has a cloud-based operating system which enables the equipment to run unattended, even overnight, which maximizes your annual production and saves labor costs.

  • Your crafted input beverage will be filtered into two outputs: One being a crystal clear filtrate (hard seltzer base) that maintains the original ABV of the input beverage. The second output is your non-alcoholic beverage that retains colors, flavors and aromas of your original input beverage at 0.5% ABV, or less.

  • No additional permitting or licensing required to operate the Equalizer filtration equipment in the US per the TTB. This feature opens up opportunities for beverage manufacturers of all sizes to utilize the Equalizer technology.

How It Works

Starting from a tank of beer, wine, cider or Fermented Beverage (FB) , an operator can create two beverages out of one trusted recipe. The Equalizer series filters the input beverage into a clear FB ready to be finished into hard seltzer, while also creating a flavorful non-alcoholic beverage maintaining flavor, color and aromas. The equipment can also operate in a keg to keg configuration where the beverage is degassed if necessary prior to processing and then re-carbonated inline.

Input

The input is the original beverage or FB preferably after filtration (but not required).

Other Inputs

Other inputs are H2O and CO2. The Equalizer skid is equipped with an RO water system, used for the clear beverage output.

Output 1

A clear beverage (hard seltzer base), at the same ABV as the input, stripped of color, aroma and most flavor.

A cereal beverage, with most of the flavor, color and aromas of the input, ready to be finished into a non-alcoholic beverage.
